Hurrem Sultan is one of the most luxurious
historical Turkish baths in Istanbul; located
between the Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sophia. The
prices at Hurrem Sultan Hamam start from 95 Euros
and go up to 260 Euros depending on your selection
among a variety of service packages. The hammam was
originally designed and built in the 16th century by
Mimar Sinan, the chief Ottoman architect, upon the
order of Hurrem Sultan, the wife of Sultan Suleiman
the Magnificent. It was built where the ancient
public baths of Zeuxippus used to stand during the
Roman Empire.

" The architecture of the place itself warrants a visit but the staff is also really nice. I ended up going here after researching a lot of hammam places just because I wanted the best of the best experience and I think that is what I found." (Google / Feb 2026) |

"Today I went for the traditional experience and added on a 35 minute massage. I was feeling overwhelmed and vulnerable but the women who were providing the services were all extremely supportive and comforting. Mahire was super nice and was excellent throughout my entire visit. The experience was unforgettable and perfect in every way. It was well beyond my expectations. Highly recommend."
