Local hammam - not touristy. We paid 1000tl (€20) for the sauna, scrub (with the traditional glove), soap, and shampoo. They provide slippers and a towel. Friendly staff - they offer tea. (Google / March 2026) |

Pleasantly surprised. The staff were friendly (there were some problems with English, but we managed to communicate somehow), and the masseurs were very good. I paid 500 lira ($12) for the hamam, 200 lire for the spa, and 200 lire for the scrub massage.." (Google / Feb 2026) |

"An historical institution that has seen much better days. Smells of mildew and damp, which are visible on the walls covered in green. Can't really complain because of the price. The hammam itself was cheap and cheerful. Tipping wise, I was willing to tip the main guy who did my ritual and the guy who showed me in, dealt with my shoes, and dried me off to sit on the sofa. However, there was a young guy who appeared much later looking like he just woke up from a nap who asked for a tip even though he did not provide me any service. That was a bit of a downer." "The hamam itself was a good experience, liked it a lot. 1500 ($35) for 2 people (Nov 29, 2025), great price, a bit run down but i kind of like places like that, authentic, wanted to go for the next 3 days but... The guy that did the scrubbing and massage kept asking for a tip when I was still bathing. Ok, understood, I can agree with that, I gave him about 250, which I thought was enough at about 15%, but he seemed displeased with that. That was a turn off.." (Google / Nov 2025) |
