Built in 1458 Hızırbey hammam is more than
Istanbul’s first public bathhouse; it is a living
atelier where the timeless arts of steam, marble, and
water have been perfected for centuries. The hamam was
commissioned by an exceptional figure: Hızır Bey, who
was appointed by Sultan Mehmed II as the very first Kadı
of Istanbul.

"We spent a wonderful afternoon in this hammam, paying €50 each but worth every penny. The full treatment included a sauna, Turkish bath, scrub, foam massage, and a relaxing final oil massage. We felt pampered and completely rejuvenated! The staff was kind, professional, and very welcoming, offering us hot tea at the end of the treatment and, for those who wanted, even a cigarette to finish in complete relaxation. Every detail was taken care of, in a clean and peaceful environment, where you truly feel the center of attention." (Google /June 2025) |

"Much better than turistic places - you get a complete hamam with oil massage for half the price of a turistic place. Highly recommended - afterward, you can take a walk on the river side which is very nice" (Google / June 2025) |

"I did go to the Hamam to get some infos regarding the price. And the price for a full scrub , massage , and foam wash is 60 € now" (Google /May 2025) |
